  • Ex-Catrine pupil Scot is looking for a Tartan Army team to take on his new local side

A former Catrine primary pupil has issued a friendly challenge to Tartan Army volunteers to take on his new local side when Scotland meet Sweden in a friendly next month

Scot James, who went to Catrine Primary and Auchinleck Academy, and now lives in Sweden, is organising a match between members of the travelling Tartan Army - sure to be out in force for the game - and his local side, Langholmen FC.

The friendly match between Scotland and Sweden is being played on Wednesday 11th August. Scot moved to Sweden back in 1998, and has been closely involved in the Langholmen club as it has grown from a Sunday league club to playing in Sweden's third division.
