Police seek dead Catrine man’s relatives

Police are trying to locate the relatives of a 55-year-old man who died in Catrine.

Alexander McPheators was found dead in his home in Mauchline Road on Friday, January 27. 

There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

Enquiries so far have revealed he was married to a lady called Mary but they later separated. 

It is possible Mr McPheators may have a daughter living somewhere in the Ayrshire area.

Anyone with any information or knowledge concerning Mr McPheators or his relatives is asked to contact Constable Samantha Briggs, Kilmarnock Police Office on 01563 505124.
